Scope
The terms apply to examinations in the fields of IT forensics, data recovery and technical surveillance counter-measures carried out by AQON INTELLIGENCE.
Instruction and scope of work
The question, scope, examination location and technical limits are agreed in writing before the work begins. An instruction only comes into existence once both sides have confirmed it.
Results are documented so that third parties can review them. Whether an expert report is used in proceedings, and what evidential value it carries, is decided by the competent body.
Remuneration
Remuneration is agreed individually. Instructions from courts and investigating authorities are settled under the German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act (JVEG) where that Act applies.
